We rewrote the site: documentation, release notes and settings for everyone

Our old site was a brochure. The new one brings our products' documentation, release notes and posts together, and adds settings that make reading easier.

Contents

Someone reading our old site understood what we do, but when they wanted to install one of our projects they ended up on another site. The install command was in one place, the release note somewhere else and the post explaining why we did it that way in a third. On the new site we brought these together under one roof.

What changed

  • Documentation: setup and usage guides. You can start from the Getting started page.
  • Release notes: what changed in our products, in date order. This page is where to look before upgrading.
  • Blog: posts like this one, about the decisions behind the work.
  • Project planner: on the contact page it clarifies your need with a few questions and fills in the form automatically.

Settings for everyone

From the accessibility button at the top right you can enlarge the text, open up the line spacing, switch to a typeface whose letters are easier to tell apart, and turn on high contrast and link underlines. If you have trouble following a line, the reading ruler may help. Your choices are stored only in this browser and are not sent to the server.

You can listen to posts and documentation aloud. We use your browser's own Turkish voice; the paragraph being read is highlighted on screen. There is a speed setting and a pause button.

What we deliberately left out

There is no animation that plays when a page opens, no rotating slogan and no wall of customer logos. There are also no tracking cookies and no advertising code loaded from outside. Keeping the site fast and plain took more effort than adding things.

If you got stuck on a page or a setting does not work as you expect, write to us. We give priority to reports about accessibility.
